Careers at ATT

Build YourCareer Here.

We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, resources, and mentorship to do the best work of their careers — on sites across Cornwall, Ottawa, and Eastern Ontario.

What We Look For

Beyond technical skills and relevant site experience, these are the qualities that define the people who thrive at ATT Construction.

Ownership Mentality

We look for people who treat each project as if it were their own property on the line — who take initiative, catch problems early, and hold themselves accountable to the highest standard of craft.

Problem-Solving Under Pressure

Construction sites throw curveballs daily. We value people who stay cool, think clearly, and find practical solutions fast — not people who escalate every issue.

Collaborative Spirit

Great buildings are a team effort. We prize individuals who communicate clearly with clients, trades, and colleagues — who share credit and default to generosity.

Pride in Craftsmanship

We're building structures that will stand for decades. We seek people who care about doing it right — not just doing it fast — and who hold every sub-trade to the same standard.

Tips for Getting Ready

Practical advice for candidates interested in joining the ATT team, from people who have sat on both sides of the interview table.

01

Know our projects before you arrive

Spend time on our Projects and Services pages before any conversation. Candidates who understand the types of builds we do — and who can speak specifically about residential vs. commercial vs. design-build — stand out from the first call.

02

Lead with specific experience

We want to know what you personally built or managed — not what you were involved in. Be specific: project type, scale, your role, and what you delivered. 'Assisted on a $4M renovation in Etobicoke' is far more compelling than 'worked in construction management.'

03

Be ready to walk through a real problem

For site-level roles, expect a practical scenario: a sub-trade no-shows on a critical day, a client changes scope mid-build, an inspection fails. We want to see how you think on your feet, not just what's on your resume.

04

Show you understand the client relationship

ATT's reputation is built on communication and transparency. We look for people who understand that a client's home or business is their most important asset — and who can navigate tough conversations with professionalism and care.

05

Ask questions that show long-term thinking

We're more impressed by 'How does ATT handle quality control on large multi-trade projects?' than 'What are the hours?' Show us you're thinking about the craft, the team, and how to grow — not just the job offer.
